It is a super robust and user friendly instrument that makes analysis look so easy.
Application Area:Analyze nitrate, phosphate, sediment and chlorophyll content in water samples
"It has an easy-to-use interface that provides intuitive usability with an icon-driven software that helps us obtain results quickly. It also has autologging capabilities that enable a repeat of measurements of the same sample with a selected time interval. Minimal footprint with large graphical display and wavelength range of 198 to 1000 nm with a Xenon light source and advanced features of spectrum scanning, quantitation, and kinetics."

Fantastic spectrophotometer, highly recommended!
Application Area:Enzyme/substrate assays
"I have been using this spectrophotometer for about 2 years to test the quality of our enzymes and substrates that we manufacture at our company (PPR Diagnostics Ltd.) for commercial use. It is easy to use and has several features that are worth taking the time to discover as they save a lot of time in the long run. Some of the features that I found useful were: 1- I could save the specifications of an assay so that I could select it and the spec would be ready to read my samples straight away without needing to be adjusted for sample numbers, wavelength, etc. 2- I could set a time between each sample reading, for example I would set the spec to read 40 samples with 3 seconds between each sample. That way I didn't need to press a button every time I needed a sample to be read. 3- The results get printed out as soon as a sample is read which gets added straight away into my lab book without the fear of losing readings. In general, I found this spec extremely useful for my work and we could not test our products without it. Since we found it so useful and easy to use we recommended it to the technical staff at King's College London and they purchased a large quantity of these specs for their student lab practical classes. Overall, it's a fantastic product."
The Genova Nano microvolume spectrophotometer measures small sample volumes as low as 0.5µl with a high degree of accuracy, reproducibility and speed. It has the ability to measure small sample volumes, conserves precious samples, reduces the need for dilutions and eliminates the requirement for cuvettes. Cleaning is quick and simple; wiping the read heads with a microfiber cloth removes all trace of the sample, allowing faster change over between samples and therefore increasing sample throughput.
