"The equipment has been efficient in the quantification of food additives such as ascorbic acid, benzoic acid, potassium sorbate, saccharin etc. in beverages. There are several methods that can be used to quantify these additives. I have been using a polar solvent in gradient elution which uses Formic acid Methanol with a Carbon1 8 column. These give a very good resolution peak within a short time."
