Cost effective very good instrument.
Application Area: Analysis of many chemicals permeating protective clothing
"Cost effective instrument. Ideal for our purposes, analysing many chemicals at regular intervals (coupled with sampling valves) using software which controls the sampling well. Also good for simple mixtures. With regular service and occasional repairs (not often needed) it has worked well for 15 years."

Great teaching instrument, but also good for research use.

"Very good little GC - absolutely perfect for teaching at undergraduate level as they are very easy to set-up and use and don't take up too much bench space. The instruments are also sensitive enough for research purposes - over the years we have published several papers using data acquired on these instruments."

All 200 Series GC’s come with a split split-less injector, electronic programmable pressure control for carrier gas, a fully temperature programable oven and a choice of detector types. The 200 Series GC can use either capillary or packed columns.
