The Scientists’ Choice Awards Winners are Announced!

SelectScience.net, the web’s most comprehensive buyer’s guide for laboratory scientists, has awarded the winners of The 2011 Scientists’ Choice Awards for Best New Products at Pittcon.

Exhibitors and attendees enjoyed a Champagne reception at the SelectScience booth where the winners were presented with a commemorative plaque.

The winners are:

Best New General Lab Product of 2010:

Best New Separations Product of 2010:

Agilent 1220 Infinity LC System, Agilent Technologies

Best New Spectroscopy Product of 2010:

Thermo Scientific Nicolet iS5, Thermo Fisher Scientific

Over 35,000 members of the SelectScience.net web community were invited to nominate their favourite General Lab, Separations and Spectroscopy products. The nominations took place online where scientists from labs all over the world shared their thoughts on the best products of 2010. Nominations were then narrowed down to the most popular products for each category and scientists were invited to select their winners.

The winners of the Scientists’ Choice Web Awards were also honoured at the presentation. These awards are determined by SelectScience editors and are based on the response and click through rate of campaigns in 2010.
