Hamamatsu Exhibit ORCA-Flash4.0 sCMOS Camera at EMC 2012
06 Sep 2012

Hamamatsu will introduce the ORCA-Flash4.0 sCMOS camera, featuring high sensitivity, high resolution and fast readout at EMC 2012, Booth Number 517.

Engineered around a new second-generation sCMOS detector; the ORCA-Flash4.0 is the first camera to be able to deliver better signal-to-noise than EM-CCDs, cooled CCDs and first-generation sCMOS cameras for low-level, fast, fluorescence imaging. The ORCA-Flash4.0’s high sensitivity means extreme versatility. This unique camera covers a wide range of imaging needs, including super resolution microscopy, TIRF microscopy, live cell GFP, high-speed calcium ion imaging, FRET, real-time confocal microscopy and many more.

Also on display is the ImagEM EM-CCD camera and the C10988MA; a unique, ultra-compact mini-spectrometer built using MOEMS technology.
