The AuroFlow™ Fluoroquinolone Strip Test Kit is designed as a rapid screening tool for the meat and dairy industries, detecting 8 of the major fluoroquinolone antibiotics, including enrofloxacin and ciprofloxacin, below the Maximum Residue Limit (MRL) set by the European Union.
Fluoroquinolone antibiotics, commonly used to treat veterinary infections by E. coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella, and Haemophilus, are banned by the FDA for use in food-producing animals including dairy cattle and poultry. However, extra-label use and unintended contamination of poultry feed continue to be a persistent problem.

The AuroFlow™ Fluoroquinolone Strip Test Kit is available in 96-test or 192-test formats for either raw milk or meat samples. It is Bioo Scientific’s latest addition to the line of kits for the detection of antibiotic residues in food. These kits are all manufactured to the international quality standard ISO 9001:2008.
