GC / MS

GC/MS couples gas chromatography (GC) and mass spectrometry (MS) to separate, quantify and identify volatile organic compounds. In the mass spectrometer molecules can be ionized by electron ionization or chemical ionization, and data is collected by full scan mode and/or selected ion monitoring. Features to consider in GC/MS systems include sensitivity, resolution, linear dynamic range and software. Learn about the latest products, user reviews, applications, news, videos and webinars.
