Direct PCR Amplification of Buccal Samples on the NUCLEIC-CARD™ COLOR with the AmpFℓSTR® Identifiler® Direct PCR Amplification Kit

In forensic investigations, buccal swab samples are some of the most challenging samples to process in terms of reproducibility and success rate when DNA is amplified for STR profiling in direct mode (i.e., without sample extraction and quantification). This application note presents a method for efficient and reliable direct profiling of buccal cell samples.
