Filtration

Filtration and microfiltration are techniques which use filters to separate solids from fluids most often using a gravity or vacuum method. Filter types include air filters, water filters and oil filters. Filter materials also vary and can be selected to suit the filtration application. Filter materials, amongst others, include cellulose, polypropylene, paper, nylon, PVDF and stainless steel.
