Cell Lines / Stem Cells

Cell lines are useful in studying a variety of cell processes as they can grow indefinitely in cell culture (given fresh media and space). Stem cell lines are used in the study of novel therapeutics and have the additional capability of differentiating into a number of cell types. Cell lines can be chosen dependent on application and include prokaryotic and human or non-human eukaryotic cell lines.
