Cell / Tissue Culture
Cell / tissue culture is the in vitro growth of cells and tissue, respectively, under controlled conditions. Cell culture, including stem cell culture and yeast cell culture, often uses common eukaryotic cell lines in liquid suspension or attached to a matrix. Cell and tissue culture kits require appropriate media, growth factors, sera, buffers and reagents. Cell density meters measure cell growth and passaging can be used to maintain growth.
