Application Note: Xpose - Revolutionizing Micro-volume UV/VIS Quantification of DNA, RNA and Proteins

Micro-volume UV/VIS spectrophotometers have been generally accepted for DNA, RNA and protein quantification and purity analysis. Although their popularity is based on obvious advantages like small sample consumption and a large measurement range, they do suffer from drawbacks in their approach due to the requirement of multiple manual steps and limited specificity of UV/VIS based quantification. The unique design of the Xpose reader and its microfluidic slides redefines manual UV/VIS quantification into a convenient, high speed method fit for accurate quantification of both pure and complex samples. Its approach avoids time-consuming sample loading and cleaning steps, thereby minimizing the hands-on time on the reader.
