Composition of fatty acids is an important factor influencing the nutritional value of food products. In this note, comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography (GCxGC) has been applied for the analysis of fatty acids methyl esters. In GCxGC, two columns of different selectivity are connected via a modulator.
