Application Note: Real Time Calcium Flux Measurements in iPSC Derived 3D Heart Tissues
3 February 2015

This application note describes a method for analyzing compound induced changes in calcium handling of cardiac myocytes in 3D tissue using the CLARIOstar® multimode microplate reader. The CLARIOstar’s sampling frequency of 100 hz, enabled measurements to be made every 0.01 seconds allowing calcium transient measurements in real time to profile drug-induced changes in excitation-contraction coupling.
