Application Note: The Thermal Denaturation of an Oligonucleotide: A Study to Validate Dynamic Multimode Spectroscopy
22 August 2011

Dynamic multi-mode spectroscopy (DMS) is a new technique that uses the Chirascan-plus CD spectrometer equipped with multiple spectroscopic probes to study changes in the secondary structure of proteins and other biomolecules as a function of both wavelength and temperature. This application note by Applied Photophysics details that information related to protein unfolding can be derived from the data and may be used to enable informed decisions to be made in drug development, for example.
