Sensitive Detection of Pyrethroids in Surface Water and Sediment

This application note describes a method developed on the Agilent 7000 series Triple Quadrupole GC/MS using NCI GC/MS/MS with backflushing. The method delivers estimated method detection limits (EMDLs) for pyrethroids as low as 0.05 parts per trillion (ppt) in water samples and 0.02 parts per billion (ppb) for sediment, enabling efficient monitoring of water sources for toxic pyrethroid levels.
