Application Note: Optimizing FFPE DNA Preparation for use in SureSelectXT2

Massively parallel sequencing technologies enable scientists to discover rare mutations, structural variants, and novel transcripts at an unprecedented rate. With this technology, sensitive detection and identification of even low-frequency alleles in highly heterogeneous samples can be done with confidence. Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues provide a useful biobank in such investigations; however archived tissues can contain limited and/or damaged DNA. In this application note read how the SureSelectXT2 protocol is utilized to demonstrate excellent performance with FFPE samples.
