Application Note: Evaluation of a New Four-Channel LC and a Mass Spectrometer from Thermo Scientific™ for Open-Access Analysis of Multiple Drug Classes

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the ability of the Thermo Scientific™ Prelude LX-4 MD™ to accurately analyze multiple classes of compounds simultaneously, facilitate open-access operation and maximize mass spectrometer time usage. The Prelude LX-4 MD™ demonstrated the ability to analyze 4 separate compound classes on one HPLC-MS system to a high degree of accuracy and precision over the course of evaluation. Overall the system showed good analytical stability and reduced runtime by 63% compared to running the same methods in serial.
