High Throughput Metabolic Stability Screening with MALDI Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometry

The advent of high throughput screening, large compound libraries and advancements in robotics and liquid handling have placed large demands on the throughput, reliability and reproducibility of in vitro metabolic stability assays. While it is possible to perform compound incubations in a parallel high speed manner using robotic liquid handlers, analysis of the resulting samples using LC/MS/MS has become the bottleneck in the process. This poster presents a workflow suitable for high throughput metabolic stability screening purposes based on a newly configured MALDI-QqQ mass spectrometer and commercially available liquid handlers.
