The Importance of Regular In-Lab Checking of Pipettes

This white paper highlights the importance of regular in-lab checking of pipettes and how to do your own checks. There is a general assumption that pipettes, once serviced and calibrated will stay within calibration from one service to another whereas the reality can be far from that. Whilst it is always advisable to have your pipettes serviced and calibrated regularly, it is important that you are checking your own pipettes 'in-lab' regularly to ensure that they are performing within specification.
