Spectral interference makes the determination of both trace and macro elements in food samples extremely challenging. To overcome this PerkinElmer demonstrate the application of the NexION® 300X ICP-MS in this note for the analysis of various food substances, focusing on toxic and typical essential and macro elements in a group of NIST® standard reference materials.
