Application Note: TG-IR Analysis of Layers of a Cable Used in the Automotive Industry

This application note details a method for the identification of the polymer used to form the external sheath of the cable using a TG-IR technique, which allows the identification of a material through its decomposition products. Such analysis is completely free from interferences due to the presence of carbon.
