Screening Cancer Genes Using NimbleGen Sequence Capture Arrays and the GS Junior Sequencing System

Roche illustrates an efficient method for screening a core set of exons from 75 cancer associated genes in this application note. The oligo hybridization method effectively enriches for both contiguous and disjointed regions of the genome with less effort than PCR targeting methods. The combination of NimbleGen Sequence Capture and sequencing using the GS Junior System for one run per sample was performed.
