Drugs of abuse are typically screened by immunoassay techniques (EMIT) and confirmed by GC/MS or LC/MS/MS assays. This note presents an alternative route for analysis, quantitation and confirmation of these drugs using a Time-of-flight (TOF) mass spectrometer.
