Oxidative stability of fatty acid methyl esters (FAME, biodiesel)

The oxidative stability of fatty acid methyl esters is determined with the rancimat method according to DIN EN 14112. FAME is produced from vegetable oil (e.g. rape oil) by transesterification of triglycerides to methyl esters.
