Next Generation Sequencing: A highly Sensitive Test for Mutation Detection

Next generation sequencing has revolutionized the field of genetics. With the emergence of personalized medicine, the application of DNA sequencing is continuing to develop for screening approaches and treatment decisions. The authors of this application note aimed to produce a workflow for mutation detection of specific target amplicons and demonstrate the limit of detection of mutant DNA for NGS.
