Application Note: New Generation CCD / EMCCD Technology: A review of eXcelon Technology

This application note provides a basic overview of the advantages and disadvantages of various types of low-light CCDs/EMCCDs and introduces a new sensor technology, eXcelon, that promises to mitigate some of their inherent limitations.
