Micro-Solid Phase Extraction in the Pharmaceutical Industry using Porvair Sciences’ Microlute™

Traditional solid phase extraction (SPE) uses irregular silica particles (d.p ≈40µm) packed into syringe barrel cartridges, with sorbent bed masses from 5-500mg. This application note describes the use of a new SPE format, introduced by Porvair Sciences, where the 96 SPE cartridges have been combined in the microtitre plate format.
