U.S. EPA Method 8260C – Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) by Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) is one of the most common environmental applications for GC/MS. This application note demonstrates that the PerkinElmer® Clarus® SQ 8 GC/MS with purge and trap sample introduction both meets and exceeds the performance criteria set out in EPA method 8260C.
