Identification and Quantification of four Aflatoxins using the Bruker amaZon SL Ion Trap Mass Spectrometer

A sensitive analytical method for the determination and quantitation of four aflatoxins is presented in this application note, using the Bruker amaZon SL Ion Trap mass spectrometry system. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of a wide range of molecules in common food and feed matrices can be achieved simultaneously, using a LC/MS/MS method to measure aflatoxins G1, G2, B1, and B2, which are thought to have carcinogenic properties in humans and livestock.
