High-Throughput In Vitro ADME Analysis with Permeability Assays

Standard Caco-2 and PAMPA assays were performed on a variety of drug candidates. The Agilent RapidFire High-throughput Mass Spectrometry System, interfaced to either a QQQ or a TOF MS, was used to analyze the assay plates, and described in this application note. Using this setup, samples were processed in less than 10 seconds each. The ultra-fast system produced results similar to traditional LC/MS methods in a fraction of the time.
