GPC Cleanup of Olive Oil Samples

This work describes the implementation of a sample cleaning method for analyzing pesticide residues in olive oil by HPLC. Pesticides were separated from the oily matrix by size exclusion/gel permeation chromatography. The optimized GPC purification technique was carried out with a KNAUER Smartline GPC Cleanup Unit 6500 for automated sample cleaning.
