Good Practices in Using a Water Purification System and Handling High Purity Water

The usage of water purification systems is widespread in laboratories. This scientific poster describes a number of “good laboratory practices” for working with high purity water. The importance of rinsing newly installed RO cartridges is analysed by measuring TOC levels in a water sample. Reservoir material for longer-term water storage, regular monitoring of water quality and flushing the water system are also discussed as part of good lab practice.
