Key to the successful implementation of fluorescence lifetime technology (FLT) is the commercial availability of both reagents and relevant instrumentation. In this application note the combination of Almac’s FLEXYTE™ FLT reagents and the ameon™ FLT plate reader from TTP Labtech is shown to provide fast, robust and sensitive FLT analysis. This enabling technology, demonstrated here for the protease target class, complements the portfolio of established assay formats, and facilitates the high throughput screening and profiling of major therapeutic targets.
