Environmental Analysis of BTEX Compounds in Soil, Water and Sludge by GC/PID

The analysis of BTEX compounds simplifies the identification of gasoline and diesel sources. In this application note, the Buck model 300 gas chromatograph, equipped with a built-in purge and trap and PID, is shown to be sufficient for BTEX detection, thereby eliminating the need for GC/MS.
