Elix® UV Technology Compared to Single and Double Distillation

This application note from Millipore highlights data resulting from a study on purification performance of a single and double distillation system. It concludes that distillation has been superseded by the RO-combined-with-EDI
technology. This technology is now becoming the standard used to supply purified water in laboratories. The Millipore Elix UV system, which combines reverse osmosis, electrodeionization and a germicidal UV lamp was used to establish these results.
