Application Note: Dye Solar Cells Part 3 – IMPS and IMVS Measurements

This is the third and final part in a series discussing dye solar cells from Gamry Instruments. The first can be found here and discussed the basic principles. The second part, found here, discussed impedance spectroscopy and analysis of its parameters. This final part looks at Intensity Modulated Photocurrent Spectroscopy (IMPS) and Intensity Modulated Photovoltage Spectroscopy (IMVS), two parameters which are used to calculate the diffusion coefficient and other measurements.
