Detection of Glutathione Conjugated Metabolites using the Automated Method Creation Tool in LightSight ™ Software

In the drug discovery process, the identification and characterization of metabolites plays an important role because unsuitable pharmacokinetics (bioavailability and drug distribution), toxicity and adverse drug reactions can be linked to metabolic instability. This study illustrates the capability of LightSight™ Software version 2.0 and the Hybrid Triple Quadrupole Linear Ion Trap (QTRAP®) mass spectrometer for the detection of glutathione conjugated metabolites.
