This application note describes a cost-effective method for the analysis of major, minor and trace elements in foodstuffs. Various certified and standard reference materials are analyzed. MP-AES offers any food testing facilities dependant on acetylene-based instrumentation an alternative in terms of sensitivity, multi-element capability and speed of analysis.
