Biomarker Discovery by BIOiTRAQ

This case study was set up by Protea Biosciences in order to discover unique biomarkers in isolated mitochondrial samples. Using a wide range of sample preparation methods/techniques as well as a variety of analytical approaches, Protea’s interdisciplinary team developed an integrated experimental design to look for relative quantitative differences of protein profiles in control vs. diseased/treatment states.
