Accurate and Sensitive All-Ions Quantitation Using Ultra-High Resolution LC/MS
20 June 2011

Using ultra-high resolution and accurate mass data to obtain high-quality quantitative data for metabolomics studies is an effective alternative to perform selective reaction monitoring (SRM) techniques using triple quadrupole mass spectrometry. Ultra-high resolution liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (UHPLC-MS) provides sensitive, high quality, quantitative data and offers a simple, relatively unbiased, and highly quantitative assessment of metabolomics samples, negating the need for multiple mass spectrometer platforms. This application note demonstrates the capabilities of high resolution LC-MS for the assessment of metabolomics samples.
