In this video, Jeff Brooker from Thorlabs, tells SelectScience about the new TDI Camera System, which provides a fast, accurate solution for whole-slide imaging. The position of the stage is synchronized with the transfer of charges across the camera's CCD sensor to effectively eliminate the relative motion between the sample and the imaging array. Jeff discusses some of benefits of this technology including longer exposure times and higher throughput imaging. Interview filmed by SelectScience at ASCB 2012.
