The Eppendorf Award for Young European Investigators is presented to young scientists for outstanding achievements in the fields of biomedical research based on methods of molecular biology. In this video Dr. Simon Boulton, winner of the 2008 Eppendorf Award for Young European Investigators, discusses more about his research, which focuses on the mechanisms that sense and repair DNA damage in cells.
