Organs-on-a-Chip: Bridging in-vitro Studies to Clinical Trials on a Synthetic Platform

3 July 2015

In this video, Professor John McLean, of the Waters Center of Innovation at Vanderbilt University, TN, describes how his research into enabling technologies for medical science is improving the drug discovery process by reducing the need for animal testing. Prof. McLean is developing organs-on-chips that can be monitored closely using ion mobility-mass spectrometry, collecting crucial data quickly and precisely.
