In this video Don Weldon tells SelectScience about the new SmartFlare RNA Detection Probes from EMD Millipore. Don explains how live cell RNA detection is now possible, in a single incubation step using inert nanoparticle technology to specifically detect native RNA. He discusses some of the key benefits of this approach compared to existing techniques, such as real-time PCR and demonstrates how the technology works. Interview filmed by SelectScience at AACR 2013.
