At SLAS2013 Agilent Technologies introduced the innovative Encore Multispan Liquid Handling System. In this video Todd Christian, General Manager of Agilent’s Automation Solutions Business, tells SelectScience about some of the novel features of this new instrument. These include multiple pipette banks to permit higher throughput applications, a built-in robotic arm that reaches 21 inches off deck, intuitive software that makes the instrument extremely easy to use and factory calibrated pipettors, which streamline the start up process.
