In this video Dr. Imma Ferrer, a Research Associate at the Department of Environmental Engineering of the University of Colorado, discusses her work investigating pesticides and pharmaceuticals in water samples. Imma tells SelectScience how mass spectrometry has enabled accurate mass determination, which is critical for this work. In addition she discusses an ongoing project which looks at how plants uptake pesticides and their transport in soil.
