One of the many highlights of MipTec 2012 was the User Group Meeting organized by René Assenberg, a research scientist specializing in protein production. The workshop entitled “current challenges in protein expression” was extremely well received by scientists in both academia and industry. In this video René Assenberg tells SelectScience about some of the topics covered during the workshop, such as the expression of membrane proteins, secreted proteins and glycoproteins, as well as the production of antibodies. Scientists were able to discuss the challenges they face on a daily basis. Interview filmed at MipTec 2012 by SelectScience.
